About H1B Database
H1B Database (h1bdatabase.info) is a free, independent reference for what U.S. employers pay H-1B workers. It is built entirely from public records: the Labor Condition Application (LCA) disclosure files that the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Foreign Labor Certification publishes every quarter. Every number on the site traces back to those files.
The site answers three questions: what does a given company pay its H-1B employees, which companies sponsor H-1B visas and how many, and what an H-1B job title or city pays. It does this with salary percentiles rather than averages, year-over-year trends, prevailing-wage levels, and a filing-by-filing table for every employer, large or small.
What it is not
An LCA is a required step before an H-1B petition, not an approved visa and not proof that anyone was hired. The site reports certified LCAs only and labels them as such. Salaries are the base annual wage stated on the LCA and exclude bonus, equity and benefits. We do not have USCIS petition outcomes, and we do not grade or score employers.
Who runs it
H1B Database is an independent, self-funded project run by a small team in the United States. It is not affiliated with the Department of Labor, USCIS, or any employer or law firm listed on the site. The same team builds whalstreet.com.
Corrections and contact
Employer names are cleaned automatically from the raw DOL strings, so a company can occasionally appear under a variant name. If you spot an error, or represent an employer and want a listing reviewed, email hello@h1bdatabase.info. We correct mistakes; we do not remove public records.
